Catamount Kitchens & Design

Jonni Huntley Spaulding AAS, CKD, CBD:

I have been designing beautiful kitchens and baths for clients in Vermont & New Hampshire for the past 15 years. I take pride in every design my company produces whether large or small. My clients demand quality and fine craftsmanship; it is my job to maintain these high standards throughout all phases of design, construction and installation.

I graduated from Vermont Technical College with a degree in architecture and building engineering and in 2003 became a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) and in 2006 a Certified Bathroom Designer (CBD). The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) requires practicing designers to have a minimum of 7 years of experience before they are eligible to sit for the 3 hour test and 6 hour hand drafting exam. Please call or email me to learn more about becoming a CKD or CBD through the National Kitchen and Bath Association.

In the fall of 2007 I was asked to be one of the 14 judges for the National Kitchen & Bath Association's (NKBA) annual design competition. 576 projects were submitted to the NKBA from across Canada and the United States. It was a wonderful experience that I hope to do again some day.

In the spring of 2008 I was a member of a four person panel to judge a "kitchen challenge" competition sponsored by Yankee Magazine. Please see the 2008 September/October issue of Yankee for more details. I found working with Yankee to be all that I expected and more. The members of the Yankee team are professional, humble, and very friendly. I will welcome any opportunity to work with them again.

"Jonni Spaulding is a true professional and a real pleasure to work with. In addition to being creative and knowledgeable about current industry trends, she takes the time to listen to her clients and understand their needs and how they use their space. I've really enjoyed working with Jonni and Catamount Kitchens & Design."
